This year's Virgil Mountain Madness is August 17, 2008.

Come enjoy a challenging 30 km (3500 foot climb) or a 12 km (1250 foot climb) trail run on a well-cleared section of the Finger Lakes Trail in pristine state forest. You'll run beneath maples, oaks, red pines, spruce, and huge hemlocks.

This race is sponsored by the Finger Lakes Runners Club, and is sanctioned by the Road Runners Club of America.
